The final book we needed to read was, Wuthering Heights, by Emily Bronte. Ellen Dean is the narrator of this story, she tells of the life of a young orphaned gypsy named Heathcliff who is brought home to live with the Earnshaw children. After their parents deaths, Hindley Earnshaw, does what he can to destroy Heathcliff and he abuses him constantly. Soon though they gypsy disappears, and the woman he's loved all his life marries another man. Now a full grown man, Heathcliff returns and it is clear to see that he is set on taking revenge against all those who have wronged him.

To show the relationships between Heathcliff and the other characters in the novel I had to create a visual paragraph. After choosing the word longing to best describe the connection between the two, I drew Catherine and Heathcliff facing each other. Below the picture of my poster, you can find my explanations as to why I chose the characters, descriptive word, and quote.
The last assignment that needed to be completed for Wuthering Heights, was an essay. My essay was written on how the influences of those surrounding the characters help to evolve them into their eventual selves. You can read my essay down below.
